Ruxandra Stanescu is a former, nationally ranked Romanian Gymnast. Having begun in gymnastics at just 4 years of age, Ruxandra competed for Romania until 2003.
Ruxandra began coaching competitive Gymnastics in 2005. Continuing her education, she graduated from the Romanian University of Physical Education and Sport, Specialized in Gymnastics with a bachelor degree in 2008.
Ruxandra immigrated to Canada in 2008 and worked hard to achieve status as a Level 3 Men and Woman Artistic Gymnastic Coach in Canada. During her time coaching in Canada, she has successful coached several girls and boys to medal performances, qualifying them to compete in Ontario Provincial Championships and National Championships bringing back to Windsor and the Southwestern Ontario a long waited National Championships Medal (gold medal) in the Senior Category.
Ruxandra is a very dedicated team player with great organizational and interpersonal skills, who enjoys working with both recreational and competitive gymnastics participants.

Robert Stanescu is a 2007 graduate of the Romanian University of Physical Education and Sport, Specialized in Gymnastics holding a bachelor degree and Masters Degree in Management and Marketing in Sports.
Robert began gymnastics at 5 years of age and he represents Romanian National Team in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and he was as a member of the Canadian National Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Team from 2014 to 2016. He began his coaching career in 2007, coaching in the same club where he honed his competitive skills. He has been coaching competitive Gymnastics in Canada since immigrating in 2010. Robert is an NCCP Certified Level 3 Men and Woman Artistic Gymnastic Coach in Canada. During his career coaching in Canada Robert managed to get his athletes to win several Provincial and National Medals making him one of the most successful coaches in the Windsor-Essex County area.
Robert has proven an effective mentor for young boys hoping to reach their potential as competitive gymnasts, as well as children looking to discover the joy of Gymnastics. He is dedicated to his students and creates an environment where children want to succeed!
Satara Mak has been a WAG competitive and recreational coach at Alpha Gymnastics Academy since 2017. After a few years of competitive gymnastics, she switched to competitive powerlifting, won multiple provincial titles, and set the highest record for various lifts in her weight class. She is currently attending the University of Windsor enrolled in the Concurrent Education program, and she is majoring in English and Creative Writing. She is an NCCP Level 2 certified Artistic Gymnastics Coach in Canada.
Satara has been coaching at Alpha Gymnastics Academy with passion and dedication to both the sport and striving to allow her athletes to reach their full potential. She has skills and experience in creating a fun, happy, and safe environment for her athletes to train hard and achieve their goals. She likes to come into the gym with a smile on her face, radiating positivity to those around her.
Patricia has been a WAG and recreational coach at our gym since 2019. She started gymnastics at 4 years old and after a few years of practicing she switched to competitive dancing, winning multiples championships and contests. She finished The Romanian University of Physical Education and Sport with majoring in Gymnastics with the speciality in Floor and Beam dance routines and she is a Canadian NCCP Level 2 Certified Women's Artistic Gymnastics Coach and NCCP Level 1 Certified Men's Artistic Gymnastics Coach. She has been coaching gymnastics and dance for more than 11 year, starting at two of the most important gymnastics clubs in Bucharest.
Since she moved to Canada, Patricia has been coaching at Alpha Gymnastics Academy with passion and dedication to this sport. She has skills and experience in creating games and a good environment for the kids to feel happy and safe and, also to train hard and achieve their goals. She likes to put a smile on everyone’s face and to create a good relationship with others.

Daniel is a Canadian National Medalist, a multiple Ontario Gold Medalist, and the 2019 WESPY Award Winner. He is also a proud receiver of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics and has a Minor in Child Psychology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (Honours), and he will follow up with a Master’s Degree in Psychology.
